Before the PSL 8 draught, Babar Azam New PSL Team Confirmed has opted to part ways with Karachi Kings. Instead, the top hitter is expected to play for Peshawar Zalmi in the upcoming PSL 8 season.
Babar Azam, the franchise’s standout player, and captain is no longer associated with the Karachi Kings. According to Karachi Kings, they would not be keeping their captain for the PSL 8 draught.
Babar Azam won’t be eligible in the draught since he’s already committed to playing for Peshawar Zalmi. The owner of Peshawar Zalmi, Javed Afridi, announced on his social media accounts that the star player would wear yellow for the 2018 Pakistan Super League season.
The reports claim that the Karachi Kings have exchanged Shoaib Malik for Babar Azam.
