In response to directions from the Ministry of the Interior of Pakistan, the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports (DGIP) made the online application for paying the passport fee available throughout Pakistan. This made it possible for people to get passports more quickly. The app was initially launched in the country’s major cities.
Today marks the formal debut of the Passport Fee Asaan app, launched by Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah. The head of the Prime Minister’s Strategic Reforms, Salman Sufi, also revealed that it had been made available to the general public. This information comes from the announcement that was made.
In addition, citizens can pay their passport fees through the PayMaster web service that the DGIP ( Directorate General of Immigration and Passports ) provides. Previously, individuals in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Lahore had access to the online payment facility. This month was supposed to be when it arrived in Karachi. Despite this, the Ministry activated it around the country before its scheduled presentation in the nation’s financial center.
He stated that it is one of the different services introduced in the coming months and will enable millions of citizens to pay their taxes without waiting in line at banks. He stated that introducing these facilities would take place in the coming months.
