Mohammad Wasim, who is in charge of choosing the Pakistan’s Squad team, said that the Test series against England would have 18 players. The three-game series will start on December 1 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Babar Azam will be in charge of the team.
There were some surprising additions to the team, like Abrar Ahmed and Mohammad Ali getting their first call-ups after doing well in the 2022 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.
Fawad Alam, a veteran middle-order batter from Pakistan, was dropped from the team after he didn’t do well in his last international game.
Mohammad Wasim Jr., Pakistan’s limited-overs fast bowler, was added to the Test team after he did well in the T20 World Cup in 2022. The all-rounder Faheem Ashraf and the former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed were also rewarded for their good play on the domestic circuit.
The four spinners in the team are Mohammad Nawaz, Abrar Ahmed, Nauman Ali, and Zahid Mehmood in Pakistan’s Squad.
